Center Advisory Committee Elects New Officers

COLLEGE STATION (Real Estate Center) – C. Clark Welder of San Antonio was elected chair of the Center’s advisory committee Friday in Austin. Port Lavaca Realtor Russell Cain will succeed Welder as vice chair.

A native of Beeville, Welder handles lease and contract negotiations, dispute resolutions, title review and litigation oversight for Welder Exploration & Production Inc. He earned his undergraduate’s degree from Texas A&M University before attending law school at St. Mary’s University.

Welder replaces former chair Kimberly A. Shambley of Dallas, whose term on the committee expired at the end of January.

Cain is president of Russell Cain LLC, which has offices in Port Lavaca, Port O’Connor, Seadrift and Edna. He is a member of the Calhoun County Board of Realtors, Victoria Board of Realtors, Rockport Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the Texas Association of Realtors.
