ALN January 2015 Apartment Data Now Available

CARROLLTON (ALN Apartment Data Inc.) – ALN Apartment Data Inc. has released its latest market data for Texas and the individual Texas markets it covers.

Average statewide apartment occupancy for the overall market was at 91.2 percent last month, a .3 percent drop from January 2014. Average effective rent was $941, up 7.3 percent from a year ago.

Of the Texas markets covered by ALN, Abilene had the biggest increase in occupancy, at 4.8 percent over January 2014. Houston, meanwhile, had the biggest increase in effective rents, at 8.4 percent.
