60-Acre Mixed-Use Planned Near Austin-Bergstrom

AUSTIN (Austin Business Journal) – A 60-acre mixed-use project called Airport Gateway is under development near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

St. Croix Capital Corp. is behind the 60-acre project, which will eventually have 40 acres of industrial and 20 acres of retail space. The project will cost around $90 million.

The first building going up there is a 120-room Residence Inn by Marriott. It will be on 3.5 acres at 7119 E. Ben White Blvd. Dallas-based Bedford Lodging plans to begin construction in the second quarter.

Two more hotels are expected to be developed at Airport Gateway.
