Apple Takes Bite Out of Northwest Austin Office Market

AUSTIN (Austin American-Statesman) – Apple Inc. has gone from sole tenant to full owner of the four-building Riata Crossing North complex on the city’s northwest side, according to Travis County deeds.

An entity of San Francisco-based Spear Street Capital sold the 350,000-sf complex on Riata Vista Circle (the deed lists the seller as Riata Holdings LP, doing business as Riata Austin Holdings LP).

The property is across the street from where Apple is building Americas Operations Center, a one-million-sf project that’s valued at more than $348 million.
