HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle) – Union Investment has paid around $440 million for 1000 Main, an 836,000-sf downtown skyscraper.
The German real estate investment manager acquired the 36-story, fully leased building on behalf of one of its funds, Unilmmo: Europa, according to an announcement Wednesday.
Tenants include Shell, NRG Energy and UBS.
The seller was Invesco Real Estate. Metzler Real Estate advised Union Investment's New York office on the transaction.
