AUSTIN (Austin American-Statesman) – New York-based Sackman Enterprises Inc. is planning a 35-story luxury condominium tower in the city's Rainey St. district.
The project — called 70 Rainey — will have more than 160 residences priced from the $300,000s to $3 million.
Construction is slated to begin this fall, with the tower opening in late 2017.
Sackman bought the site from locally based Riverside Resources.
This is Sackman's first Austin project, but the company is planning at least six projects here over the next several years, according to Director of Development C.J. Sackman.
