Lufkin Landowner Issue Conference May 8
LUFKIN (AgriLife Today) – “The Value of Land,” a conference covering issues affecting landowners, will be held May 8 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office at 2201 S. Medford Dr.
Topics will include oil and gas leasing, water rights, easements, estate planning, groundwater issues and environmental impact from fracturing.
The Real Estate Center’s Judon Fambrough will be a guest speaker along with Dr. Susan Struver, senior research scientist with the Texas A&M Institute of Renewable Natural Resources, and Jackie Risner, general manager of the Pineywoods Groundwater Conservation District.
Registration is $40/person or $50/couple if done by May 1.
