Shale-Inland Picks Pearland for Regional Facility
PEARLAND (Pearland EDC) – Shale-Inland Holdings LLC has selected a site here for its new regional facility. The city and county will consider agreements over the next month to finalize the company’s plan.
The 210,000-sf, tilt-wall building will have office, distribution and warehouse space and an eight-acre pipe yard. It will be on 40 acres on the northwest corner of SH 35 and Bailey Rd. The designer is American Commercial Contractors of Houston.
Shale-Inland plans to consolidate its local pipe, fitting and flange operations from many of its companies, including Southwest Stainless and Alloy, Multalloy, J&J Bar and J&J Alloy, said CEO Frank Riddick. The building will house about 80 employees.
