Facelift for Oak Lawn Office

The 3500 Maple Ave. office tower, located just north of Uptown and across from Reverchon Park, was sold out of foreclosure last year. It was purchased for over $64 million by Champion Partners and Building Land and Technology of Stamford, Conn.

Construction has begun on the 376,000-sf, 30-year-old buildling, which will be renamed Parkside Tower.

Upgrades include a new fitness center, food service area and a new drive-up and entry on Maple Ave. The upgrades should be completed by this fall.

DTZ oversees leasing of the 55 percent-leased high-rise.
