According to Amazon, the project, a joint venture involving Clarion Partners and Trammell Crow Company, will be 500,000 sf and process smaller items, such as books, electronics and consumer goods.
The company already has fulfillment centers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with one opening in Coppell in fall 2013. The new center is slated to open by next year.
