The development, called The Commons at Heatherwilde and Pecan, will have 1,250 residential units along with office and retail space. It will be on 45 acres near the intersection of Pecan St. and Heatherwilde Blvd.
The "walkable urban" community could include townhomes, apartments, shops and civic spaces.
