Alcatel-Lucent Building New Plano HQ

The New Jersey-based company currently operates out of two buildings at its local campus. It plans to sell the property, including the land on which the new facility will be built.

Alcatel-Lucent’s central operations facility, at the corner of Lotus Dr. and Independence Pkwy., is expected to open at the end of August on the same plot of land the company is selling.

The new building will have ten labs as well as the customer training group and the executive briefing center. Other amenities include a fitness center and a shaded outdoor patio work space. The office primarily will be open working space.
