|Private Rights to Property||Private Rights to Property||The Foundation of Freedom, Prosperity, and Harmony||John W. Allen||2021-06-22T05:00:00Z||booklet||RE Issues|
This essay was first published in 1987. While a few of the facts are dated, the primary message remains unchanged.
Where societies organize themselves according to the principles of private property and free markets, their citizens not only live better, but also they live more freely and more harmoniously.
Dr. John W. Allen is professor emeritus of economics from Texas A&M University. From 1985 to 1989, Dr. Allen served as the Texas Real Estate Research Center’s senior research economist. In this report, he explains the fundamental role of private property rights in providing wealth, harmony, and freedom. Hard copies of this book are rare, but the Center digitized it and made it available as a golden oldie to be given a second chance to shine.
