
Can you believe it? Next year the Real Estate Center will be 40 years old. In preparation for a year-long celebration, we are collecting comments, anecdotes, war stories, recollections and tall tales from the people who played a part in building this world-renowned Center. Because you were one of those people, we want to hear from you.
We have no preconceived idea of what you might say. Just tell us your story as if you were telling it to a good friend or see the starter questions below.
In case you have writer’s block, here are some questions to get you started:
- What do you recall most about the Center? Why? Give illustrations.
- Who were the people you recall as having the most influence on the Center? Why? Tell any stories or anecdotes about them.
- What was your first impression of the Center, staff, working conditions?
- What was your job or relationship with the Center? What do you consider your major accomplishment while associated with the Center? Do any particular projects stand out in your mind? If so, which ones and why?
